The Aarhus music scene and the road to the studio
Let's be honest: Aarhus has no shortage of studios, and you can easily record in your own city. The music scene is thriving too. VoxHall and Radar are busy, SPOT fills the city with new names in early May, and NorthSide takes over Eskelunden in June. But precisely because something is always happening, a recording day at home can easily get squeezed in between everything else.
The Hideout is 120 km up the E45, about an hour and a quarter by car, and offers the opposite of big-city pace: a calm studio where the day is yours, at a different price from the city. Plan the day booking from home, drive up the motorway in the morning, and bring nothing but your instruments and your focus. We do mixing and mastering online afterwards, so one day in North Jutland is enough for a finished result.

From Aarhus you drive up the E45 and have the whole day in the studio: 9 hours, 9 am to 6 pm, with an engineer. Four rooms and a Steinway grand piano from 1896.

At The Hideout Studio we offer mastering in-house in our studio, a place also known and recognised for mixing and recording. Mastering is the last but decisive stage of your music production, where we fine-tune your mix so it sounds its best on streaming services, radio, CD and vinyl.
