We are open about the prices in our recording studio.
All prices are guidelines, and you are always welcome to write or call us for a quote on your project.
All prices include 25% Danish VAT. Keep that in mind if you compare with other studios.

We help you all the way, during and after your time in the studio, from the first chords to the finished master and release. We believe in being present, flexible and tailoring the work to you, so you as an artist can focus on what matters most: the music.

Whether you choose us for our quality, our experience or our prices, one thing is certain: we get the best result together. At The Hideout Studio every band or artist has one fixed contact person, our Studio Manager Jacob Nørgaard, who makes sure your project runs smoothly. Together we plan a realistic schedule, so we get the best result, whether it is recording, mixing, mastering, video, photo, video sessions or releasing your music.

The "Producer package": you have the song, we have the know-how. From idea to finished release.
- 2 days in the studio with a producer

Recording in our studio in Aalborg
Recording a song, an EP or an album in the studio
Price: DKK 3,500 incl. VAT per day
For a decade, musicians have found their way to The Hideout Studio, and not without reason!
This is included when you or your band record with us:

Studio hire: the control room, piano booth, live room, kitchen and bathroom.

An experienced engineer who handles the technical side of the recording. In other words, our engineer Lucas Illanes is included in the price.

Studio time from 9 am to 6 pm. As a starting point you get a full 9 hours in the studio with an experienced engineer at the desk.

Use of our Steinway & Sons grand piano from 1896, included in the studio hire.

We are first and foremost a recording studio, but we are proud of our unique live sessions.

- Audio post-production, including the mix.

The price does not include studio hire.

Please note: our live sessions are filmed as "one shot", and you get plenty of time, calm and guidance to deliver your best take.​

Terms of business
- An invoice is sent when the first draft of the product has been delivered by The Hideout Studio.
- Payment is due within 14 days.
- A reminder fee is DKK 100.
- After three reminders, the invoice is passed to an external debt collector, which may add further costs and interest.
- Large or long-running projects may require a deposit.
- Our Steinway & Sons grand piano is always available. If you want it tuned before your recording, we book the local piano tuner. DKK 800 incl. VAT
- Other requests / ad hoc work (hourly rate)
