A professional studio for your recording
Recording in a studio is something truly unique.
At The Hideout Studio you can park right by the door, with easy access to the studio. The control room has a sofa for relaxing between takes, a view through the glass wall into the main recording room, and you can help yourself in the kitchen. The control room is also where mixing takes place, and where you will spend most of your time during your stay in the studio.

The main recording room has acoustic treatment, lots of glass and a cosy feel, with old lamps with shades, fairy lights and other homely furnishings. Many of our artists are busy musicians with gigs in the calendar, so we have made it possible to go straight to a gig after a long day of recording in our studio.
Relaxing in the control room, although it was full when we had a visit from 22 young people from AYJO

Live recording: recording with an audience in the studio
Our artists often want the special atmosphere you get from recording with a live audience in the studio... and we love having guests!
Some artists even sell tickets to these studio events and create a unique product where you can really hear the live audience in the result.
In many ways it is the best of both worlds when recording a song:
- Plenty of intensity and edge in the music, like on stage, but with the high sound quality you only get in a recording studio.

Voiceover: your message recorded in a professional studio
- Voiceover recording in our studio
"See why Podimo, among others, uses us"
Although we are a music studio, we have a lot of experience recording voiceover, from commercials for international companies, presentation videos for bands / artists, presentations of research results and podcasts, both in our studio and on location
Whether you are completely new to this or a professional voice actor, we are ready to record and post-produce speech, at a very affordable price.
We have worked with the London-based Voice Squad LTD on radio commercials for clients such as Adidas, all recorded in our studio with the international clients watching via live stream during the recording.

The studio: the main room where the recording happens
With dark, soft colours and our signature atmosphere, carried by wood, glass, fairy lights and the warm glow of our floor lamps, you are met by a room that invites you to get absorbed in the recording. There are no clinical white walls in our studio. See lots more photos of the studio here, whether you are interested in recording or video.
The main recording room is approx. 60 m2, split into different stations. Each station has a monitor controller, so as a musician you can control your own monitor mix, independently of our engineer, to give the best possible performance during the recording.
The room has sections for drums, bass and guitar.
The control room: the heart of the studio

The control room is something special for us.
The control room and the studio are separated by a double glass wall, so you can see the recording when you visit. On the shelves you will find everything from old clocks, Nirvana records and our artists' CDs and vinyl to gear, lots of gear.
The control room is long, with a sofa and dining table at one end and the console, speakers and rack gear at the other, ready to record your music
Our artists often spend time in the control room during recording sessions, and you can talk between the rooms via our talkback system.

The Box
Or, "this is where our Steinway & Sons lives in the studio"
We are very happy to offer our artists one of the finest instruments there is: a full-size grand piano.
It is a Steinway & Sons, and it stands in a glass booth in the studio.
In many ways the instrument is magic. Our artists describe the piano as having a very soft tone, while the acoustics around it give an incredibly nuanced and detailed sound, "In Your Face".
The piano is always ready for recording and always available to our artists.
